The significant number of Sri Lankan students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Russian universities, along with the presence of Russian-speaking tourists in Sri Lanka’s hospitality sector, underscores the strategic importance of Russian language education in the national context.

Ziveka Campus introduces this Foundation Level Russian Language course to address the specific language needs of Sri Lankan learners from diverse professional and academic backgrounds. The course is designed to equip learners with foundational communicative competence in Russian,  encompassing the Cyrillic script, phonology, grammar, and core vocabulary, enabling them to function effectively in everyday interactions, service and hospitality settings, basic professional communication, and further language study.
