Spoken French for Young Learners

Programme Overview

Bonjour Kids! is a twelve-week introductory spoken French programme for young learners, designed and delivered by the School of French Language, Ziveka Online Campus. The course follows a structured, communicative, play-based approach and is built directly around the accompanying Student Textbook, which takes learners from their first words of French through to the threshold of CEFR Level A1.

Instruction is oral-first and activity-led, combining listening, speaking, reading and writing practice in balance, with games and Total Physical Response (TPR) techniques used to support engagement among younger learners. The syllabus is organised as a spiral, recycling sequence, in which vocabulary and structures introduced in early weeks are deliberately revisited and recombined in later weeks, most notably at the Week 6 review point and again across Weeks 11 and 12.
